## About

I'm Nimsara, a full stack and blockchain engineer from Sri Lanka and a final-year IT undergraduate at the University of Moratuwa.

From Jun 2024 to Jun 2026 I was at Ceylon Cash, joining as an intern and promoted to Associate Software Engineer. In 2025 I represented the company at the Forma pop-up village in Ahangama and TOKEN2049 Singapore, and from Jan 2026 I also worked on business development for CeyPay, Ceylon Cash's crypto-to-LKR payment gateway. On the engineering side I built back-end services for CeyPay, a digital loyalty and rewards platform, and Telegram Mini Apps and community bots such as the PizzaDAO bot. In parallel I built backend systems for the Chainlyze on-chain analytics platform on contract.

From Jun to Aug 2026 I worked remotely as a Business Development Manager (KOL) at MEXC, building KOL, influencer and community partnerships to grow users and trading volume.

Right now I'm in my final year, focused on research, freelance client work and building a startup, and I'm open to flexible roles that fit around my studies until I graduate. Recent builds: Keep Yours, built for the Arbitrum Open House Singapore Buildathon and Colosseum's Crypto World's Fair (Arbitrum track), now with a live waitlist and a testnet beta running with testers; and Mumbai Onchain for Devcon 8 and India Blockchain Week.
